How is intimacy going for you? It is good, healthy, nourishing? Or have your attempts at intimacy resulted in only frustration, darkness, and pain? Do you understand what it takes to experience intimacy? Do you know why God invented sex?
God created you and me with the need, desire, and capacity for intimacy.
And yet this core need of our being has so often gotten us into trouble.
In this video I unpack:
- How God originally designed us for intimacy.
- What happened to sex, marriage, and intimacy.
- Why our need for intimacy is important.
And something else has stirred up many Christians about these issues. Josh Harris, author of I Kissed Dating Goodbye, recently announced that he is getting divorced and no longer considers himself a Christian. I comment on that in this Charisma News article.
This month in the Fully Alive Group we’re unpacking sex, sexuality, and intimacy in some depth. Our first online event on this topic happens Tuesday August 6, 7:30 pm Eastern.
If you’re not already a member, you can join right here!
I’d love to see you there as part of our online community.
