10 Reasons You Should Smile More

Smiling ChildSmile, and the world smiles with you. Weep, and you weep alone.”

Well, maybe that saying originally started out with “Laugh”, but “Smile” works just as well. Perhaps it shouldn’t be that way, and often moments of sorrow provide opportunities for others to demonstrate sincere God-inspired compassion.

But it’s still true that smiles are contagious!

That’s only one reason to be conscious of how often you smile. Smiling is good for your body, mind, and soul. It’s good for the people around you. And it can demonstrate an inner hope and peace that speaks of God’s work in your heart.

8 Things To Do When You’re Tired

8 Things To Do When You’re Tired

Sleep. Is that what you think? When you’re tired because you are behind on your sleep, that may be the very best thing to do.

But not so fast. Sometimes sleep may work against you.

When women come to see me as a doctor, fatigue is often their Number One complaint. They are often hoping for a medical solution. The fact is, your family is probably far from perfect. Unless you’re one of the mythical Cleavers, Christmas probably won’t turn out exactly the way you might wish. Some people in your family may end up being very unhappy, perhaps with you. You may have to spend time around people you don’t like at all. Your efforts to try and make everything wonderful may fall flat, or even lead to more misunderstanding.

So here’s the important tip. …

When You Dread the Holidays
