Here’s a list of helpful resources in many health-related areas. This list is not meant to be exhaustive, but I do hope this can point you in a direction that is helpful. New Life Ministries – Faith-based resources for mental and emotional health, including their radio program, conferences, and online resources.

Ransomed Heart Ministries – All about the heart – things that speak to the deepest parts of us, for men, women, and couples. Includes on-line discussions, conferences, and other resources.

Shannon Etheridge – Author and advocate for healthy sexuality and healthy spirituality, many associated resources, especially for women.

XXXChurch – Porn addiction is one of the most difficult addictions to overcome. This site is your resource online to fight porn addiction. We prevail through awareness, prevention, and recovery.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – Awareness, information, education, prevention resources, and support for those affected by suicide in their family.

Child Help USA – Hotline and other resources for prevention and treatment of child abuse. For free 24/7 hotline help, call 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453).

Suicide Prevention Lifeline – If you’re in crisis, there is help! Call 1-800-273-TALK. You’re not alone! Get some help.

Suicide Prevention, Awareness, and Support – Toll-free numbers to call for help. You can also find information on mental health challenges, teen-youth suicide risks, prevention programs, and more.

Help for Relationships and Marriage

Affair Recovery – On-line and in person help for those caught in marital infidelity, both for the betrayed spouse and the unfaithful spouse.

Caring Connections – A program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, Caring Connections is devoted to improving care at the end of life – for both patients and their families.

CDC’s Resources on Fall Prevention – Resources, research, and information on preventing falls among seniors and those in poor health.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) – The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute’s site on the fourth leading cause of death – COPD. Information includes symptoms, diagnosis, and information on managing the disease.

Go Red For Women – Resources and information from the American Heart Association on heart disease in women. Included is an online heart check, giving you your risk of heart disease.

Life’s Simple Seven – From the American Heart Association, get your heart health score. And find out in-depth information on the seven key lifestyle factors important in maintaining your heart health.
